Being a good neighbor
If the home you’ve leased is located within a homeowners association (HOA), their local rules apply to you and your household as well. Because each HOA has its own set of regulations, please take time to review them carefully so you know what’s expected of you as a responsible neighbor. If you have any questions or doubts, don’t hesitate to contact your property manager.

We’ve also included some general recommendations below to keep in mind as you settle into your new community. For more tips and tricks on neighborly etiquette, check out our blog here.
Park at home
Park in your garage or driveway. Vehicles that aren’t properly parked may result in a fine.
Clean oil stains on driveway
Power wash your driveway as needed to remove oil, dirt, rust, and other stains.
Remove holiday decorations
Some neighborhoods enforce rules around what and when decorations must be taken down.
Maintain curb appeal
Regularly care for your landscaping and trim onsite trees to maintain an orderly lawn.
Put away bins
Generally, it’s OK for bins to be in street view from dusk the day before pick-up to dusk the day of pick-up.
Properly store items
Store personal items in a respectful manner, inside your home and garage, rather than within view from the street.
This is intended to be a brief summary and is not legally binding. Please refer to your lease for more information. Please contact your property manager if you have any questions.
